Port Stephens Cruise and Sandboarding Day Tour - Sydney

When: Friday 24th March (Trimester 1, Week 5)

Time: 7:00am to arrive before 7:15am departure from Surry Hills Campus (17/51 Foveaux St, Surry Hills NSW 2010). Arrival back to Sydney at approximately 8pm.

Visit Tomaree National Park, which provides a magnificent backdrop to the coastal towns and villages of Nelson Bay, Shoal Bay, Boat Harbour and Anna Bay. It is the only place in NSW where you can see outcrops of the acid volcanic rock rhyodacite. See the historical significance of Fort Tomaree and keep your eyes out for koalas dozing high in the trees. We will enjoy a tasty picnic lunch by the beach, where you just might spot whales.

Jump aboard the Moonshadow V - an 85ʺ (26 metre) Catamaran, with 3 decks (main deck, cocktail deck and sun deck), a stage and dance floor. It has state of the art underwater live video cameras, boom net and twist and twirl slide. Port Stephens is home to over 160 resident bottlenose dolphins and that’s why we call ourselves the Dolphin Capital of Australia! This cruise has a very high success rate in dolphin sightings, boomnet rides, entertaining and informative commentary and scenic harbour cruise including spectacular Tomaree and Yacaaba headlands.

Experience the thrill of sliding down our sandboarding hill – it can be up to 50 meters high! Our instructors will give you all the tips for maximum safety & speed on our custom made sandboards. You will be having so much fun you will want to go again and again!
