Theory & Practice of Yin Yoga: learn why and how to practice Yin Yoga

Yin and Yang differences: understand the concept and importance of balancing Yin/Yang

How Yin Yoga was developed

Yin Yoga asanas: study in detail the physical, mental and energetic benefits of each Yin Yoga posture

How to use props in Yin Yoga: gain knowledge in many different ways props can be used to suit individual needs

How to develop a home Yin Yoga practice that helps to nourish, replenish, rejuvenate and heal.

Anatomy

Learn Functional Anatomy practical ways which will be relevant for both your Yang and Yin styles of practice and teaching.

Discover the differences between muscular tension (muscle tightness) and skeletal compression (bone hitting bone): learn the importance of understanding the differences in your own Yoga (Yang and Yin) practice and in teaching students

Understand the differences between function and aesthetics of poses. Learn Tom Myers Anatomy Trains and benefits of Myofascial tissue release in Yin Yoga practice.

Mindfulness Meditation

Learn and experience meditative mindfulness approaches to Yin Yoga

Discover the benefits and relevance of practicing Mindfulness Meditation to everyday life and benefits as a healing tool.

Chinese Medicine & Yin Yoga

Learn fundamentals of Chinese Medicine and how it relates to Yin Yoga

Learn about the relationship between fascial tissues and meridian channels

Explore the relationship between meridians/organs and emotions

Discover how the Chinese Medicine meridian approach to Yin can help bring healing and balance on physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels.

Teaching Yin Yoga

Learn safe modifications and variations for students: become skilled at creating modifications for students with special needs, injured and pregnancy.

Learn the art of sequencing that is purposeful and formulate relevant class themes

Contact hours:

10:30am – 5:30pm each day of the course. 45 mins lunch break

Venue: Studio Paradise, 124 Bass Meadows Blvd, St. Andrews Beach, VIC.

Investment:

• Early Bird payment: $1300 Must be made in full before or on 31st March 2021

• Full price $1499 after early bird period

• $300 (non-refundable) deposit to secure your spot. Deposit is inclusive of the course fee.

No prerequisites to attend course, open to everybody with a willing and keen interest to learn Yin Yoga.

TRAINING TERMS & CONDITIONS

• Non-Refundable Deposit: to reserve your place we require a $300 non–refundable if you decide to cancel. If in the event we decide to cancel the course, you will be refunded full amount of deposit $300.

• Cancellation policy:

• cancellations can be made up to 4 weeks prior to the course commencement date and no later, for a refund of fees paid (less deposit). All cancellations/drop outs that are made within that 4 week window, or once the course has commenced, will be non-refundable.
