Event Details

 

We are pleased to announce that the 4th International Oyster Symposium will be held in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia in September 2011. IOS4 is being organised jointly by Oysters Tasmania, the World Oyster Society and NSW Industry and Investment.

IOS4 will be held at The Hobart Function and Conference Centre in Hobart. The venue is located right on the historic Hobart waterfront on the Elizabeth Street Pier.

Hobart is the capital city of Tasmania and is Australia’s southern-most capital city. Nestling between the lofty heights of Mt Wellington and the sparkling estuary of the Derwent, Hobart is a city that's shaped and defined by hills, bushland and water.

Oysters Tasmania

A joint initiative of the The Tasmanian Shellfish Executive Council and the Tasmanian Oyster Research Council, formed in 2009 as the communication and organisational hub of the Tasmanian oyster industry.

Terms and Conditions

All registrations will need to be made through on-line registration. Payment can be made by credit cards (we only accept VISA & Mastercard), eCheck and PayPal. Individual tickets will NOT be sent out. A confirmation of your booking will be issued on receipt of your payment.

Payments will be refunded with notification of cancellation at least 14 days prior to the event. Under no circumstances will payments or tickets be refunded after this time, however, registrations are transferable to another name.

In the instance of unforeseen circumstances requiring cancellation of the event, full refunds will be issued. Credit card details are not stored in a database of any form.

All fees must be paid in Australian Dollars (A$) and are inclusive of a 10% GST.
