Welcome to UNSW Arts, Design & Architecture!

The Faculty of Arts, Design & Architecture (ADA) is excited to have you as part of our community. We strongly recommend registering for both your Faculty Welcome and your Program Welcome + Tour. If you are a Fine Arts or Design student you should also register for your campus-induction on the 8th February on our Art & Design Paddington Campus.

Kensington Campus - 7th February 2023

1. Undergraduate Faculty of Arts, Design & Architecture Welcome

Join us for your Faculty Welcome where you’ll get to hear from current ADA students, the Dean, and other Faculty leaders. Get your burning questions answered and secure your ADA merch!

Attend on campus at UNSW Kensington or via live stream from anywhere! Registration is mandatory.

2. Undergraduate Program Welcome

Immediately after the Faculty Welcome, our student ambassadors will guide you to your catered program-welcome. Here you’ll learn more about your program, secure your program-specific merch, and get to make friends with the people you’re studying with.

This event is only available in-person on Kensington campus. Registration Mandatory. You will be asked to identify your degree program at the checkout and allocated to a relevant welcome.

3. Exclusive Campus Tour

Students who have attend their program welcome can opt into an exclusive ADA-specific Yellow Shirts tour. These tours are tailored to your program where relevant! Join your new friends on this exploration of Kensington campus.

This event is only available in-person on Kensington campus. Registration Mandatory.

Paddington Campus - 8th February 2023

1. Fine Arts & Design Campus Induction

Students studying Design or Fine Arts (in a specialisation other than music) should make it a priority to attend their creative campus induction on February 8th. This induction will allow you to be fully immersed into the Art & Design Paddington campus which will be a home for you during your degree.

This event is only available in-person on Paddington campus. Registration Mandatory.

2. Encore: Paddington Community Day

All ADA students are invited to come and explore Paddington campus on February 8th! Come enjoy free food and a DJ while you try out some of our creative workshops. You'll be able to collect your exclusive Paddington merchandise and maybe even make your own tote bag.

Masks: You will be required to wear a mask at all indoor events.  Please bring higher-quality masks - surgical masks offer superior protection to cloth masks, and N95 masks offer superior protection to surgical masks if correctly fitted. 

Feeling unwell? Do not come to campus if you have any symptoms, are unwell or you are considered a close contact of a COVID-19 positive case.
