An opportunity to deepen your Yin Yoga practice through a 4 week series.
If you are new to Yin Yoga or curious to try it before committing to the 4 weeks, please consider coming along to the 'Introduction to Yin Yoga Workshop' on 12 October.
Below are the details for the 4 week series:
WHEN: Wednesday nights 19 October – 9 November 2016
TIME: 6:15 – 7:15 pm (1hr)
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Each week we will explore different (Yin and Yang) meridian and work with nourishing and restorative postures to release stagnant Chi (life force) to regain our energy, calm the mind and end each practice with a peaceful meditation!
Each class will explore:
• principles of Yin practice and basic Yin/Yang theory;
• Yin postures for the 12 Yin/Yang meridian lines in the body;
• how to use props to enable a deeper practice; and
• will guide you to finding emotional health and well-being through Yin Yoga.

WHAT TO BRING:
- Yoga mat*
- water bottle
Please note that you will need to park on the verge (vertically to the house) to allow space for everyone. The Shala (yoga space) is upstairs. Please leave shoes outside the door on the shoe rack. Namaste.
All other props will be provided, including bolsters, blocks and blankets.
*there will be a few yoga mats available for those who do not own one.
