  • Existing Men’s Behaviour Change practitioners who are new to the sector and who wish to consolidate their knowledge and skills

  • Practitioners working with victim/survivors of family violence who wish to know more about the work of Men’s Behaviour Change programs

What are the learning outcomes?

  • A detailed understanding of the dynamics of men’s family violence

  • An understanding of the work of Men’s Behaviour Change programs

  • A detailed understanding of the key principles for working with men towards behaviour change

  • Development of group work and individual skills in working with men who use family violence

  • Capacity to begin working in Men’s Behaviour Change programs as a level 1 group facilitator (participants are also required to observe a minimum of 4 MBC sessions)

What is the cost?

There is no cost for Victorian based practitioners.

Some places are available to interstate practitioners on a fee for service basis at a cost of $760 for the four days of training. Please contact training@ntv.org.au if you are an interstate practitoner.

If we are able to allocate you a place, you will receive a confirmation of enrolment email. On your confirmation of enrolment email it will list where the specific location is of the course you have selected.
