3rd Annual Industry Engagement Forum - The Smart Comms Environment - 2027

What is the purpose of the event?
The National Emergency Communications Working Group – Australia and New Zealand (NECWG-A/NZ) is again bringing together a comprehensive range of Government and Industry stakeholders, to assist in shaping the future direction of the emergency communications environment. Building on the successful Industry Engagement Forums held in Sydney, Melbourne and Fremantle, the 2017 Industry Engagement Forum will specifically focus on the next generation Communication Centre environment of Emergency Service Organisations and Public Safety Agencies.
The 2017 Forum will provide attendees with the opportunity to help shape the Communication Centre of the future through workshops and collaborative input.
This year’s forum will build on the success of the Next Generation Triple Zero (NG000) strategy, which has been adopted as the key direction for emergency response by government and emergency service organisations. This year's forum will help set the future direction in designing the emergency communications environment.
This event will also provide further updates on the activities arising from the NG000 Strategy and the work undertaken following the Melbourne and Freemantle Forums.
The event will also feature a renowned keynote speaker known for his disruptive thinking, and innovation with a focus on future world possibilities that make current practices obsolete.
