As part of the Shapeshifters Exhibition, Modfab will be running a number of 3D Printing, Design and CAD Workshops. Modfab is committed to bringing this technology into education in Australia, so that the new generation of engineers, artists, designers and entrepreneurs will be able to participate to the fullest extent in this rapidly evolving ecosystem. Our teacher training courses have been NSW BOSTES accredited at proficient teacher standards.
Course: 9.00 a.m. - 2.30 p.m. - Immersion Day
Modfab's 3D Printing and CAD Immersion day has been extremely popular in both primary and high schools. We supply everything, so all you need to do is add 10 enthusiastic students! Modfab has taken the curriculum into account and designed the workshop to be relevant. Students will start the day creating a basic project and then, as newly minted CAD experts, they’ll move on to a project that they’ll design and create in pairs. Each student will receive their intitial 3D printing project and the project they design in pairs. If it is not completed on the day, Modfab will send the project to you within a week. Workshop will be run by a qualified teacher. Modfab will supply 10 laptops, handbooks, certificates, 3D printers, filament, presentation, callipers, pencils and two trainers.
Come and join in the fun!
