The Law for Community Workers series is aimed at providing community workers with an understanding of key areas of law and legal procedures that are relevant for their clients. The sessions also provide information about community legal resources, and community legal advice and legal assistance services - enabling community workers to make timely, appropriate referrals for legal advice and legal assistance, and to support their clients in navigating the legal system.

Session Description

"The Child Support System" : This session will include general information about the child support system, (how child support is applied for, calculated and paid), common problems faced by people seeking child support and where to get more information and where to refer inquiries.
