Event description

Description

Join us for the final of the University of Newcastle’s 3 Minute Thesis (3MT) competition. Each Faculty is finalising its heats to put forward their brightest rising stars who will compete on the night. Our finalists will present a summary of their research in just three minutes. A winner will be our representative at the Asia-Pacific 3MT competition.

The event will be a fascinating glimpse into the latest research being done by University of Newcastle students. The subjects are wide-ranging and diverse and last year covered topics including – Architecture for Autism, Water Management Through Satellite Technique, The Role of Dietary Nitrates for Cardiovascular Disease Prevention and many more.

Drinks and nibbles will be available after the event.
