Description

Are you in Year 10-12 and serious about getting into top-ranked US universities? Then this intensive 3-day SAT workshop is made for you!

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from a top SAT tutor who is studying at the University of Pennsylvania, one of the top Ivy League schools.

About Your SAT Expert, Parker Abt

Parker is one of the top tutors at Crimson Education, teaching SAT for over 200 hours since starting with us in 2015. Parker is a third year student at the University of Pennsylvania (Ivy League) studying history. He grew up in Miami and attended a public high school, where he graduated in the top 1% of his class and achieved a perfect score on the SAT’s reading section and near-perfect scores on the maths and writing sections.

Parker earned the top score of 5 on eleven AP exams, for which he was awarded National AP Scholar. Outside of the classroom, Parker is a prolific writer, authoring articles in such diverse publications as The Washington Post, Newsweek, the Michigan Journal of History, and Ultimate-Guitar. He has also worked in Washington DC, researching public policy for the US Congress.

As a tutor, Parker is known for being direct with his students, letting them know exactly where they stand and what steps they must take to reach their full potential. He is also known for developing efficient shortcuts for difficult reading and maths problems. Students use each of Parker’s techniques multiple times per test, making them easy to memorise and practice.

Testimonials from Parker's Students

"Parker is a great conversation partner for his vast pool of knowledge: you go from discussing serious politics to deciphering the nuances of a trolley problem meme, or nitpicking on the grammar of a Wall Street Journal article. His knowledge allows him to assist others in tackling the widely feared SAT- be it boring historical speeches or complex mathematical problems. Parker proves that with knowledge of the context and careful reading, there is a definite answer to any multiple choice question- along with enough practice and knowing the root to your mistakes. 10/10 would recommend." - Quynh Hai from Auckland

"Parker is an amazing teacher. Not only does he make the SAT seem like an easy task to excel in, but he is also able to thoroughly explain concepts and ideas to the point lessons are enjoyable. I was lucky enough to have Parker as my tutor as he enabled me to grapple the SAT reading and writing sections with confidence. All in all a fantastic tutor who provides learning opportunities you don't want to miss out on." - Sydney Student
