Event description

Description

Following the success of the inaugural CALD and Disability Symposium in July the Centre for Cultural Diversity in Disability is pleased to announce the 2nd Symposium is open for registrations.

The rollout of the NDIS is well underway and the Symposium offers a unique opportunity to focus on the questions, needs and experiences of people with disabilities from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds their families, carers and communities, and the services supporting them.

Join guest speakers from NDIA and Feros Care

The Symposium is an opportunity to engage directly with the NDIA on eligibility, transitioning and the NDIS rollout as well as explore the role of Local Area Coordinators with Feros Care.

Highlights of the first Symposium are available at www.ccdd.org.au/symposium and include a summary of the particular information and access needs of people with disabilities from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, copies of presentations and a summary of the Round Table discussions.

Don’t miss out, register your place today.

This event is offered free of charge due to the generous support of Multicultural Aged Care Inc and the Multicultural Hub.

Please share this event with your networks.

We hope you can make it!
