About this event

Bring your book club, friends and family! Hosted by Fogarty Award winner Brooke Dunnell, author Yirga Gelaw Woldeyes and author David Whish-Wilson, this is a unique opportunity to have a cuppa among friends as you discover your next great read and the author who wrote it.

The day features a panel on crime writing with Karen Herbert, author of The River Mouth, Michael Levitt, author of The Gallerist and Leigh Straw, author of The Ballroom Murder; an historical fiction panel with Sharron Booth, author of The Silence of Water, Portland Jones, author of Only Birds Above and David Whish-Wilson, author of The Sawdust House; and a literary fiction panel with Chemutai Glasheen, contributor for Unlimited Futures and Maria Papas, author of Skimming Stones.

Tickets are $10, and include a spread by Tapas Addict plus tea and coffee. Books will be available for sale at the library from New Edition Bookshop on the day.

Please note: Refunds will only be given until two weeks prior to the event.

We hope you can make it!

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we ask all guests to sanitise their hands upon entry, wear their mask unless exempt and sign in via the SafeWA app or on the physical register provided in the foyer, and to comply with any directions from event staff. As an added precaution and to keep our event environmentally friendly, please consider bringing a keep cup. We thank you for your cooperation.
