Responding to Disruption and Change

Embracing change and transformation are constant factor in the life of municipal workers and the organizations that service the municipal works industry. This year’s conference presents speakers that highlight the facets of change, and the resilience, recovery, and innovation that emerges in response to these challenges.

The Conference Program : includes a diverse range of both professional and industry presenters talking about local and international case studies relating to best municipal maintenance best practice and innovation. Subjects include products and services, training and development, occupational health and safety and technology.

Conference Dinner: Thursday evening dinner commences at 6.30 pm with pre dinner drinks in the foyer of the exhibition center before moving into the center of the exhibition stand area for the formal dinner and entertainment. The dinner provides delegates with an opportunity to interact in a less formal environment.

Municipal Works Australia (MWA) is a non-for-profit member-based association that was established to serve professionals involved in all aspects of municipal works. Founded in 1936 as the Victorian Municipal Superintendents of Works and Overseers Association, the MWA remains an organization whose primary purpose is to foster excellence in the provision of municipal works and services. This is achieved by providing through the provision of professional development, peer support and networking events and programs.
