Event description

Description

Join us for lunch and hear toe-curling stories from Australia's legendary shark expert, Valerie Taylor.

Valerie's expertise has provided the facts behind the fiction of films like Stephen Spielberg's Jaws and Dino De Laurentiis' Orca. Valerie and her husband Ron were pioneers in the field of underwater shark photography - being the first in the world to film the Great White Shark without cages and at night. They also invented and tested the world's first shark-proof steel chain mail diving suit (currently on display at the museum). The initial design was too small for Ron - so Valerie wore it!

You will have the opportunity to meet and mingle with Chairman Peter Dexter AM and Director Kevin Sumption PSM, and hear from Valerie Taylor. Enjoy the company of other members and a delicious three-course lunch accompanied by matching wines.

We hope to see you there!

Includes: three-course lunch accompanied by specially chosen wines
