About this event

This workshop is relevant to biologists, students and generally any researcher who is dealing with longitudinal data and who want to understand how to analyse them. The workshop is relevant for all disciplines, although examples and exercises will focus on biological datasets.

N.B. Prior knowledge of R and RStudio is mandatory as the basics of R will not be covered. Please do not register unless you have this experience. Participants will also need to be familiar with the concepts of statistical hypothesis testing and regression analysis.

What should I bring into the event?

This is an online workshop, so you will need to provide your own computer with R and RStudio pre-installed, and have access to a reliable internet connection sufficient for video conferencing. A second monitor is highly recommended.

What prior experience do I need?

Prior experience with R and the RStudio interface is required, as the basics of R will not be covered. Participants are expected to have a basic familiarity with the concepts of statistical hypothesis testing and regression analysis.

Who should attend?

Researchers wanting to understand how to choose the right statistical test for the context/condition and how to conduct the analysis by themselves using R.
