Come and join us for the fifth lecture in the 2022 series as Prof Quiney explores the photon - is it a wave or a particle? Could it be both?
Take a journey into the amazing world of the photon. It’s history, present and future.
This event is a live in-person event that will also be live-streamed through Zoom. The Zoom link will be sent to all ticket holders just before the event.
5:30pm: Join us for snacks and drink
6:00pm: Head into the Hercus Theatre for the interactive and entertaining lecture
7:00pm: Close
The Physics Gymnasium Lectures are open to all students, teachers and parents interested in learning some more about the amazing world of Physics. There will be links to the VCE curriculum but are open to students of all ages and background. The lectures will continue fortnightly through Term 2 and 3. Recognition for students who attend all six lectures in the 2022 series will be awarded at the final lecture. To ensure you are in the running, please fill in the details of all attendees when registering.
