Professor Vanessa Lemm will deliver this year's oration: Becoming rooted with plants: what can we learn from plants about our responsibilities towards the planet?
Professor Vanessa Lemm is the Executive Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Education at Deakin University. Her research falls in the area of contemporary continental philosophy. She is interested in questions of human nature, culture and the relationship between human and other-than-human life.
