About this event
MAP’s headline event of the year, the 2022 MAP Launch, celebrates the 11 standout teams who have earned a spot in the 2022 MAP cohort. For the first time in three years, the MAP Launch is live and in-person!
You'll get to mingle with standout entrepreneurs, corporate leaders, venture capitalists and ecosystem supporters live at Melbourne Connect, enjoy a drink and meet the hardworking founders joining the MAP family this year.
Join to us to hear from the 11 outstanding startup teams that are about to embark on this exciting journey and see the winning pitches that earned them a spot in Australia's oldest and most sought after University-aligned accelerator program.
About MAP
MAP is the University of Melbourne’s highly sought-after accelerator program. Every year we invest in 10 of Australia’s most outstanding startups, equipping them with $20,000 equity-free funding, inner-city office space and access to Australia’s best business minds to help them accelerate their growth. In 2022, we're proud to offer an additional 11th spot in our Social Impact Sustainability and Climate Stream thanks to the generous support of Melbourne Climate Futures.

University of Melbourne COVIDSafe event guidelines are in place for this event.
We require guests to comply at all times with Department of Health regulations as well as instructions, procedures and advice from University of Melbourne and Melbourne Connect event support staff.
It is a requirement for anyone attending University of Melbourne campuses to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (or exempt).

Registering for this event means that you agree to:
- Complete a symptom self-assessment prior to leaving home
- Not attend the event if you are unwell, even with very mild symptoms
- Not attend the event if you are required to isolate or quarantine for any reason and/or awaiting results of a COVID-19 test.
- Physically distance from others where possible
- Immediately notify event organisers if you become unwell while attending the event and follow University of Melbourne COVID-19 testing and notification advice
- Be contacted by the University's Public Health Network for the purpose of contact tracing.
- Refer to the COVID-19 cases in our community website to check for exposure sites after attending the event.
While face masks are not required, you are welcome to wear one if you want to. You should also respect other people’s decisions to wear a mask in settings where it is not mandatory.
If you test positive to COVID-19 in the 48 hours following this event, please notify the University’s Public Health Network and the event organiser as soon as possible.
