About this event
Parents and caregivers of prospective students are invited to join us for a one-hour tour of John Monash Science School, with current staff and students on hand to answer your questions.
Our school tours offer prospective students and their families an opportunity to view John Monash Science School's state-of-the-art science and learning facilities, ask questions of both staff and students, and gain insights into the innovative approach to curriculum and teaching and learning we take as Victoria's first specialist secondary school for science, mathematics and associated technologies.
School tours will begin at 3:30pm or 3:45pm. As this falls within Monash University's main hours of operation, guests advised to arrive on the Monash University campus 10-15 minutes early in order to find a parking space and walk to the school foyer, where they will be greeted by both students and staff members prior to the tour commencing.
A maximum of 3 x people are permitted per family, and tickets will be allocated on a first-in basis.
Should the available tours fill completely, a wait list will be available, and, should there be any cancellations, those on the waiting list will be contacted. There is no charge for tours.
Parking: There is no parking available directly outside JMSS so you will need to park in the ticketed parking spaces on Monash University campus and allow for time to walk to the school. If you are travelling by public transport, the University is serviced by an express shuttle bus to and from Huntingdale Train Station, stopping at the bus loop which is a 2-minute walk from JMSS.
Please note: This is a COVID safe event. Guests are asked to wear masks at all times. The event will be hosted on the school campus, therefore we need to adhere to all government initiatives in keeping the community safe.
