About this event
The 2022 Buddhist Winter school provides an opportunity for us to encounter Buddhist wisdom in an accessible, non-sectarian and wholly online setting. The overarching theme for the school is Change your mind, change your heart, change the world, which refers to the Buddhist idea that all beneficial societal change begins with personal change or transformation, which is mainly achieved through loving kindness and compassion fuelled by meditation practice. The keynote speaker for the winter school is internationally esteemed Buddhist nun Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo (7pm Friday 5th August). The program includes a diverse range of emerging and established teachers and practitioners. With multiple online sessions on Saturday 6th & 7th August the Buddhist Winter School has something for everyone.

Nuns and monks attend free. Most sessions are free for all. There is an option to attend the Buddhist Winter School by donation. Scroll to the bottom of the eventbrite ticket list and select the "by donation" ticket. A donation can be any amount.
