Organiser Translational Research Institute (TRI)

Organiser of 2021 TRI End of Year Building Party

TRI is a ground breaking, industry leading initiative in the Australian medical research field.

As a ‘think tank’ of collaborative minds, TRI joins the future direction of medical research.

TRI is the largest medical research institutes in the southern hemisphere.

Its ‘bench to bedside’ model will enable collaborative research in which new treatments can be developed and tested by establishing and modelling the genetic and environmental basis of human disease.

TRI represents a unique collaboration of our four research partners: The University of Queensland Diamantina Institute (UQDI), Queensland University of Technology Institute of Health and Biomedical Innovation (IBHI), Mater Research, and Metro South Research (MSH), along with its health partner, Patheon Biologics.

Led by Professor Scott Bell as CEO and Professor Ian Frazer, Chair of the TRI Foundation, TRI is the bringing together of the best and brightest minds to exchange ideas and work that ultimately translates to life-changing therapeutics and treatments.
