Event description
You are invited to attend a Mass at St Mary MacKillop Parish, Oran Park

About this event

When pre-registering to attend a Mass on weekend of 22/23 May, you will be asked an added question - namely the gender of those attending the Mass. This question is being asked, as we need to submit as part of the 2021 NATIONAL MASS COUNT, being undertaken in every Catholic parish in Australian during May, the gender of those who are attending Mass on the weekend of 22/23 May.

(This question will also appear for those pre-registering, after 4.30pm today - Thur. 13 May - for Masses on weekend of 15/16 May; however this data will not be uploaded as part of the national count)

More information on this national Mass count can be found HERE

At present we celebrate weekend Masses at our Oran Park Mass Centre on:

Saturday (Vigil) at 5pm

Sunday at 8am

Sunday at 10am

Sunday at 5pm

-- To pre-register for 9am Sunday Mass at our Leppington Mass Centre (St Mary Mother of God Church) please use the link HERE

(Pre-registration for Sunday Mass at our Leppington Mass Centre closes on the Thursday prior to the Mass at 12noon)

Seating has been arranged into 'household pods' with seating configurations of 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 or 1 seats.

You are asked to book a 'pod' based on the number of people in your household.

(If you have a household of 6, you can book two '3 seat pods)

- Only those who are in the same household are allowed, under the covid protocols, to be seated together in the same 'pod'

- If you are registering your family/household for one of the Masses, please count ALL of the children (including infants/babies) who will be attending.

Other important information about attending Mass:

-- To allow Masses to be livestreamed to the sick and homebound (via our Parish YouTube channel) a camera has been installed to face the altar/sanctuary. A map showing the 'sight-line' of the camera can be found on the noticeboard.

-- Digital registration via QR code has now been made mandatory, by the NSW Government, for all those attending 'places of worship'

• Monitors will only allow those whose names and contact details have been pre-registered to enter the church;

Due to covid19 protocols, those who haven't been able to pre-register are unable to stand outside the church.

• To allow the sick and homebound to participate in Mass, our 5pm Vigil (Saturday) Mass is livestreamed on our parish YouTube channel at (This Mass can also be viewed ‘on demand’ via our parish YouTube Channel)

• Please remember that the Bishop's dispensation from the Sunday obligation to attend Mass remains in place.
