2021 Barossa History Fair - Expo
Event Information
About this Event
This third Barossa History Fair sees the event move to the historic Angaston Town Hall in 2021. Discover the Barossa's history, including stories of daily life's struggles in the 19th century, a very unique and rapidly evolving community, and the widespread adoption of the latest technologies.
More than 20 local history groups from across our region will be there to share their stories, show off their collections, and answer your questions. Some will conduct demonstrations of traditional skills and customs on the stage.
In the Annex, listen to special guest speakers discuss Changes in the Barossa Wine Industry, Barossa Ghost Stories, and the First Peoples of our Region, in a series of one-hour Speakers' Sessions held throughout the day. (Individual Speaker's Sessions can be booked separately, also allowing access to the entire Barossa History Fair Expo.)
This year's event also includes a Family Fun Fair on the lawns of the nearby Barossa Adventure Station, with food, music, children's activities, and a nearby display of historic motor vehicles. Entry is free.
Your General Entry Ticket provides you entry to the Expo in the Town Hall, including the local history displays, all three Speakers' Sessions, and the display of the SA Heritage Council's Top 20 Photographs of 2020.
