Each Forum will run for two hours and will be focused on a specific A-SPEC theme.

GISSA operate independently of any software providers. Our focus is on linking people and processes, gaining support for change and to deliver true value. GISSA prides itself in its innovative, responsive and inclusive approach with its customers.

 

A-SPEC is GISSA’s flagship suite of infrastructure asset specifications supporting the effective and efficient flows of asset related data into information to support asset management. The A-SPEC suite of specifications have been created in close consultation with A-SPEC Community members and directly addresses the needs of the A-SPEC Community.

 

Modifications or enhancements to the A-SPEC suite of specifications is controlled by clear governance arrangements and change management protocols that includes consultation with the A-SPEC Community. This collective approach to the specifications ensures all Consortium Members' interests are taken into account in the specification evolution process. Enhancements are driven by the user Community for the user Community.

 

The A-SPEC Community comprises a growing consortium of 60+ Local Authorities across Australia using the A-SPEC standard specifications. A-SPEC has also been used Nationally and Internationally to lay the foundation of other global standard data specifications.
