Event Information
About this Event
The 2020 NSW International Student Awards will shine a light on our inspirational international student leaders, education providers, business and community groups in NSW and celebrate their contributions to the community over the past 12 months.
In a Study NSW first, the ceremony will be live streamed to a global audience and winners will be announced by Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC QC, Governor of New South Wales at Government House Sydney on Tuesday 8 December 2020.
Award categories
Two groups of awards will be presented—the NSW International Student of the Year Awards and the NSW International Student Community Engagement Awards.
The NSW International Student of the Year Awards recognise the contribution made by individual students to both the international student community and the broader NSW community. The awards showcase the achievements of international students in the higher education, vocational education and training, English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students (ELICOS) and schools sectors.
The NSW International Student Community Engagement Awards recognise the contribution of education providers, businesses and community groups that support international students to connect with the community through programs and initiatives.
