The 2020 Australia Korea Biological Control Symposium is located the National Institute of Ecology, Seocheon-gun, Date TBA. http://www.nie.re.kr/
Our aim to build a mutual understanding of research priorities in the areas of plant health, invasive species and diseases.

Attendees will present and discuss research, innovation and trends highlighting areas that will support development of a future roadmap for collaboration. The event will provide network and development opportunities with other events also planned across the week.

CSIRO is also proud to have a strong relationship with Hankyong University in biological control who are supporting the planning and delivery of this event.

2020 is the International Year of Plant Health and we also aim to align these goals with ours.

- Work together in protecting the world’s plants against the spread of devastating pests.
- Encourage scientific innovation to address pest threats.
- Promote responsible practices that reduce pest spread.
- Increase support for more sustainable plant health strategies and services.

The symposium and residual events will continue the Australia Korea Foundation strategy to enhance awareness and understanding in both countries of the importance and mutual benefits of our ongoing relationship.
