Competitors signing of the entry form indicates they understand and accept all Rules & Regulations of the “Wakool Fishing Classic” is run by and will abide by them at all times.

Proceeds:

As many of you may be aware, previously the Wakool Fishing Classic was run by Wakool Football Netball Club. Unfortunately, the decision has been made to fold the club and therefore the comp has been taken on by the newly formed Wakool Community Progress Association to ensure its continuation. The drought and lack of available irrigation water is having a major impact on our community and we see it as vital to continue to hold events to support our locals as well as showcase our backyard to visitors. Proceeds from the 2019 Wakool Fishing Classic will be used by the Wakool Community Progress Association to ensure the running of future comps and support other groups within the Wakool community. We also plan to give a donation to Wakool Restocking Group to help sustain fishing in the area.

Protests:

Any protests must be submitted in writing to the Organising Committee accompanied by a fee of $50 no later than 11:30am Sunday 24th March 2019. Fee will be returned if protest is successful. Organising committee’s decision will be final.

Entry Fees & Entitlements:

Adults $80 – One ticket into overall draw to win one of three $1,000 cash prizes. 1 cash prize each to be drawn Friday evening, Saturday evening & Sunday at close of competition prize presentations. Eligible for adult and team competition categories and meals as above

Juniors $40 – Eligible for Under 18 and team competition categories and meals as above

Teams of 3 $15 – ($5 per person) payable in addition to above relevant entry fee to be eligible for Team competition categories. Team entries to be made via the downloadable form or on site Friday 22nd March.
