All teachers are invited to attend a professional development workshop with Director of Education, John Nicholas Saunders from Sydney Theatre Company, at The Studio, HotHouse Theatre. The workshop will include practical approaches to using drama to improve literacy in your classroom.

School Drama is a professional learning program that partners Primary School teachers with professional performing artists for 7 weeks, for one school term – inspiring a passion for reading, critical thinking, performance and oral literacy.

Completing School Drama Classic will contribute 15 hours of NESA Registered PD addressing 1.1.2, 1.2.2, 1.4.2, 1.5.2, 2.1.2, 2.2.2, 2.3.2, 2.5.2, 3.1.2, 3.2.2, 3.5.2, 3.6.2, 4.1.2, 5.3.2, 5.4.2, 6.4.2, 6.2.2, 6.3.2, 7.4.2 from the Australian ProfessionalStandards for Teachers towards maintain Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
