2019 QUT HealthFusion Team Challenge - Participant Registration

The HealthFusion Team Challenge (HFTC) is Australia’s premier interprofessional education event for tertiary Health Sciences students. This internationally recognised, award-winning competition is designed to foster skills in interprofessional teamwork and collaboration in a way that is impactful, memorable and fun! Registration in the event is FREE, and you will receive a certificate of participation for your resume.

How Does it Work?

QUT will host the 6th Annual QUT HFTC across 2 days in August. On Day 1 participants will be allocated into interprofessional teams and given a clinical case study. Teams will then work together throughout the day to design a management plan in response to the case study, as well as taking part in a series of fun team-building activities and mini-challenges.

After lunch (free catering provided), Mentors representing the various QUT Health disciplines will be on-hand to answer any questions your team may face and offer feedback on team presentations.

Teams will reconvene on Day 2 (6:00pm - 10:00pm, Monday 26 August) where they will present their response to the case study and take part in an exciting series of activities and extension questions designed to test them under pressure. The team which displays the greatest mastery of teamwork over the course of the event is declared the winner.

We invite all QUT Health students beyond Year 1 of their studies to register and take part in this once in a lifetime event!
