Event description

Description

Overview

Collective giving groups have grown in numbers across Australia since 2012. This Summit for Australian collective giving groups, whether they are well-established or just starting out, will bring together practitioners to share their successes and discuss structure and process for enhanced impact and workshop challenges.

The event seeks to build capacity through shared learning and will also look externally, exploring how collective giving can grow in Australia through partnerships with the broader philanthropic sector and how groups can accelerate their contribution to community capacity building.

Who Should Attend

Leaders and participants in collective giving in Australia and New Zealand. Ideal for board and committee members but valuable to all collective giving group members and individuals and groups in an advanced stage of setting up a collective giving initiative. We also invite anyone interested in establishing a giving circle to attend. However, this summit is not for fund seeking organisations.
