Program Launch
The 2018 Queensland Poetry Festival program will explore health and healing in the context of poetry and storytelling. Join us as we unveil our full program of readings, workshops, panels, book launches, author talks, live music, art, installations, a zine fair and much more.
To be held from Thursday 23rd to Sunday 26th August, the annual Queensland Poetry Festival will feature some 80 local, national and international poets, authors and performers, with highlights including the 2018 Queensland Poetry Awards, QPF Cabaret and the Australian Poetry Slam - Queensland Final.
QUEENSLAND POETRY FESTIVAL INC (QPF) IS SUPPORTED BY THE QUEENSLAND GOVERNMENT THROUGH ARTS QUEENSLAND, THE DEPARTMENT OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT, RACING AND MULTICULTURAL AFFAIRS, BRISBANE CITY COUNCIL AND THE AUSTRALIA COUNCIL FOR THE ARTS.
