Description

Join the Mount Barker Ministers Fellowship for the 2018 Community Prayer Breakfast. With a focus on linking people and business this event will inspire the vision, courage and strategies required to build on the strengths of our local community for generations to come.

Hear from SANFL legend, Michael Aish, and enjoy a great meal together and prayer for our community.

Book individually or for a table of 8.

About Michael:

One of Michael Aish's earliest influences was his Christian grandmother, who loved God and prayed for her grandchildren. Her prayers have followed Michael throughout his life of faith, family and football.

Michael played 307 games for the Norwood Football Club from 1979 - 1993 and kicked 453 goals. His career highlights include being a Premiership Player, Club Captain, Life Member, Hall of Fame legend, Norwood Team of the Century, four time Best and Fairest, Magarey Medalist, Fos Williams Medalist, seven times Advertiser Team of the Year, two time State Captain and All Australian.

Michael is married with 4 children and 2 grandchildren. He and his wife have attended Edge Church for the last 15 years. Michael sees his life as one lived in response to God's mercy in keeping with Romans 12:1, 'Dear brothers and sisters, in view of Gods mercy I urge you to give your bodies as a living and holy sacrifice, one that he will be pleased with.

SUPPORT FOR LOCAL SCHOOL WORKERS –

The Christian Pastoral Support Program is run by the Schools Ministry Group and given essential support by local support groups such as the Mount Barker Ministers Fellowship. There are over 320 CPS workers who offer a unique dimension of care and support to students, families and staff. They are trained and experienced and work alongside and complement other welfare and well being staff in schools. Christian Pastoral Support Workers in government schools have two main tasks - to support the school in its aim to be a safe and supportive learning environment and to link families to community resources and services
