Details:
The competition will be an DOUBLE elimination competition with 8 seeded players. The first Round is expected to be a race to 4. Frames will increase progressively in the following Rounds. This is a prize-money comp, with ¾ of total entry fees allocated to the Open, and ¼ to the Ladies, assuming a sufficient number of entrants.
Ladies Event will commence at 2pm and format will be decided once numbers are finalised.
Note:
Play commences at 11am with tables opening a half hour before for practice.
Entries close Wednesday 14th March
Payout of prize money will be done via EFT after the completion of the event and may take a week to process
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
• Anyone who has entered or intends on entering the selection trials of another state or territory will be ineligible to compete in the ACT selection trials.
• To be eligible to enter the selection trials, you must be a current registered member of ACTEBA or were a registered member for either of the two previous seasons prior to the trials
• Entries for the Open 9 Ball are due by 14th March 2018
• NO entries will be accepted without the accompanying fees. The relevant entry fees (see below) MUST accompany entries.
• The format and dates for the selection trials have been based on an expected number of entries being received. The Tournament Director reserves the right to vary both the format and dates should this become necessary.
• Seeds (Top 8) will be based on the previous 2 years 9 Ball events.
• All entries are accepted under the provision that the entrant agrees to abide by all and any directions made by the Tournament Director and that their decisions will be final..
• The draw will be done as players arrive on the day of the competition.
