Description

Barista’s and lovers of specialty coffee are becoming more and more interested in the science behind the brewing of coffee and how this science can play a role in getting the best result in the cup.

Using a standard brewing recipe and a refractometer we will explore :

1. The 3 important factors to manage when brewing coffee.
2. Introducing flavour into brewed coffee.
3. How to prepare brewing methods using a standard recipe and how to alter this for what you enjoy.

During this short-structured workshop we will test our brewing recipes and methods with a variety of experiments exploring how to get the best flavour into your daily brew.

Brewing coffee workshop is designed for people working in the industry, however not limited to. We facilitate a 3-hour non-accredited course delivered by our Training Manager, a licensed Q-grader and placed in the top 8 2017 Australian Brewers Championship.

Lisa will provide a learning environment where you can try, test and clarify brewing and putting it all into action! Each workshop will provide you with resources to take home and enable you to keep practicing!

Only 3 spots per class to ensure maximum time and attention can be given to all attendees.
