Dr Chady Stephan, Global Senior Application Manager, PerkinElmer
Dr. Chady Stephan holds a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from Université de Montréal. He worked as a project manager for QSAR risk assessment services before he joined PerkinElmer as an Inorganic Product Specialist supporting the various elemental analysis platforms. He then managed the development of various nanotechnology applications that focuses on measurement techniques for nano-object characterization using various analytical platforms. He currently lead a multifunctional team composed of marketing, technical marketing, application scientist and strategist focusing on delivering complete market solutions. He is a thought leader in elemental analysis with over 20 peer-reviewed papers and book chapters. Over the past few years, his main research activities at PerkinElmer have been in developing Single Particle ICP-MS and recently Single Cell ICP-MS.
Fadi Abou Shakra, Global Product Manager, MAS Analytical Science, PerkinElmer
Dr Fadi Ramez Abou-Shakra, as the Global ICP-MS product manager for PerkinElmer, has extensive experience in ICP-MS analysis with emphasis on pharmaceutical, biomonitoring and hyphenation. Dr Abou-Shakra is a Chartered Physicist and member of the Institute of Physics (CPhys, MInstP). He holds a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Surrey (1991), an MSc in Medical Physics from the University of Surrey (1987) and a BSc in Teaching Physics from the Lebanese University (Lebanon, 1983).
Peter Dickenson, Senior Product Specialist, PerkinElmer Australia
Peter Dickenson graduated with Honours in Analytical Chemistry from the University Of Queensland in 1992. He joined ALS (Australian Laboratory Services) in Brisbane as an ICP Chemist working in the minerals division. In 1995 Peter he moved to Sydney to help set-up the trace-metals section in ALS’s new Environmental Laboratory. He continued as Senior Spectroscopist supervising a team and developing new methods for elemental analysis for soil and water using AAS, ICP, ICPMS and LC-ICPMS techniques. In 2006 Peter joined PerkinElmer as Inorganic Product Specialist supporting business growth and providing customer support in various markets including mining, environmental, food and agriculture, clinical, industry and academia.
