How does virtual and face-to-face work?
Tell us which of the 7 hubs you'll be attending (on the next page when you complete this Eventbrite registration.)
You are highly recommended to physically attend the tech talks at one of our hubs around the country, where feasible. For attendees who are not able to reach our hubs, please select "Join Remotely".
At the beginning of the event, we will email the remote participants with the ZOOM virtual meeting link. We'll also list it publicly (on the ANDS Twitter, @andsdata). We do this so that hubs have priority in connecting to the Tech Talks and don't get locked out due to technical limitations of having hundreds of video conference attendees at once.
We're aware that technical limitations prevented some remote attendees from being able to connect in the March event, so we've changed the process. If you're unable to join on the day remotely, you can access the slides shortly after the event.
If you wish to set up a new hub location for Tech Talks, please request using the meeting contact below
The talks will take about an hour (3:00pm-4:00 pm AEST), followed by face-to-face networking and discussion at the 7 hub locations (4:00pm-5:00 pm), facilitated by local hub facilitators:
