Event description

Description

In celebration of National Pollinator Week, come along to this fascinating workshop about native bees. Katrina Forstner founder of Buzz and Dig will introduce you to the amazing world of native bees and how to attract them in to your garden as valuable pollinators for your flowers and edibles. Learn firsthand why native bees are so important in urban gardens and make your very own bee hotel using materials sourced from the garden and recycled materials. You will be rewarded with increased biodiversity and better pollination and from these friendly little bees. Go on your garden and the bees will love you for it! If the weather permits, we might get the chance as citizen scientists to hone in on our newly acquired skills of identifying a native bee and submit our recordings for National Pollinator Week.
