Description

Join the Canon Collective ambassador Scott Stramyk and Emma Desira for an

morning of bird photography in the Bird hides in Sydney Olympic Park to

locate a variety of native birds, classes will run on both Friday and Saturday mornings.

There will be a short walk from the carpark to the bird hide around the

mangroves where we will photograph.

Scott and Emma will be giving you tips and tricks on birding, what to look

for and how to set up your camera equipment to get the best results for

bird photography.


Techniques covered

Telephoto Lens, Servo Focus, Composition, Mastering your semi-automatic

and manual settings


Recommended Equipment

Camera, Lenses preferably telephoto (200mm and longer), monopod, extra

battery and empty memory cards. Dress appropriately and wear sturdy

footwear.

Some lenses will be available to trial on the day but stock is limited.


Travel and Parking


Meeting: Carpark in front on the Archery Centre,

28 Bennelong Pkwy, Wentworth Point NSW 2127

Parking on the street is preferred. Please check signs.

We will then walk down through to the Bird hide together.




Important Information

Consider insect repellent as we will be amongst the mangroves.

Sturdy footwear is recommended as the ground can be unstable.
