The Consortium for the Bethsaida Excavations Project (CBEP) brings together faculty and students from more than a dozen universities and colleges, together with volunteers from many different countries, to work on this continuing project that will celebrated its 29th consecutive year in 2015. The project offers opportunities for graduate students to pursue research related to historical questions from the Iron Age through to Early Roman times, and a number of successful doctoral projects have already been completed on the site.
Bethsaida 2015 Tour Dates
Wednesday, 17 June (depart Australia) to Wednesday, 8 July (arrive back in Australia)
3 nights in Nazareth - 2 weeks on the dig - 3 nights in Jerusalem
Limited places remain for people wishing to experience working on an active archaeological dig in Israel.

Registrations limited to 20 places, and are expected to close 30 Nov 2014.
Academic credit towards the BTh is available for enrolled students, and OS-HELP funding is available for eligible participants.
