Description
MISSION - To recognise and honour service men and women who have lost their lives in combat and to raise money for selected charities which support the welfare of Australian Service men and women’s families.
PURPOSE - To find the best athletes who can demonstrate strength, endurance and honour. To foster a connected online fitness community and enable it to make a difference to the families of the fallen by celebrating their lives and contributions to the world, while raising money for related charities. To positively increase public awareness about Australian Special Forces Operators and Australian Defence Force Service Men and Women.
THE METHOD - The Australian Hero Games is an online competition, now in its fourth year and hosted annually by our affiliates and gyms around Australia each December. A percentage of each successful registered competitor’s fee is paid to the box owner. In addition, a percentage of all merchandise and apparel sales via the the gym is paid to the gym owner. A collective donation will be made to the selected charity. The event has one type of entry, individual. Categories include OPEN, 30-39, 40-49 and over 50. Scaling is available in each Category.
