Visual thinking is becoming this decade's must-have communication skill. These are the creative, engaging and clever skills to capture your thinking, convey information and collaborate with others using rapid sketching. It's not about pretty coloured art; it's about being able to think sharp and get your message across. The recognition of the impact of using visual skills to communicate
In this half-day session you'll add to the visual icons you can draw - even if you can't draw - and put the skills to work on something you're wanting to communicate or convey to others.
Leader as Facilitator
The role of a leader is not just to lead, but to inspire and engage and help teams get sh*t done. In this era where co-creation, collaboration and co-design are 'in' and command and control are 'out', you've got to have the skills to be able to bring people together and help them do the work that matters. This includes being able to run effective meetings, creative workshops and productive sessions - all the while boosting the engagement of the people on your team. It's a tall order for any leader - but not if you know the insights, tips and techniques of contemporary facilitation, as presented and displayed by Lynne Cazaly. This session will be facilitated; that is, you'll get to participate in a facilitated environment and see and experience how a range of tools, tips and techniques work.
Bring your questions, queries, challenges and real-work situations to the day and we'll workshop them and find you some very cool solutions.
