Yarra Valley growers and labour hire businesses are the focus of active compliance operations and legal action by Victoria’s Labour Hire Authority (LHA), as well as investigations by the Fair Work Ombudsman (FWO).

A recent FWO report showed the Yarra Valley horticulture industry had one of the highest non-compliance rates with workplace laws in Australia, with labour hire a major factor.
