ATPAP webinar Q`3 - Arnhem Land and Katherine
Overview
Join our next ATPAP Q3 webinar session!
This quarter, we’re heading to Katherine and East Arnhem Land to showcase two very different – but equally special – Aboriginal tourism offerings in the Northern Territory. We’re excited to welcome two Aboriginal tourism operators who will share how they provide meaningful ways for visitors to connect with Country, culture and community – whether through immersive cultural experiences or staying on Aboriginal-owned land.
This quarter, we are joined by:
Rirratjingu Aboriginal Corporation offers the Yanawal Units in Nhulunbuy, a high-end accommodation option located in the heart of East Arnhem Land. The beautifully designed units provide a comfortable and culturally respectful place to stay while visiting this remote and stunning region, supporting local Aboriginal ownership and community-led tourism.
Dalabon Aboriginal Cultural Experience, owned and run by Manuel Pamkal, a proud Dalabon man, is a 3-hour cultural experience based at Gorge View Bush Retreat, between Katherine and Nitmiluk National Park. Guests spend time with Manuel hearing his life story, learning bush skills, and connecting with Country through stories and culture.
