About Dominique Powis

Dominique is a CTO, CIO with over two decades of leading and delivering innovative technology transformation and solutions across various global industries, the last 14 years specifically in MedTech. She has a Masters of Business and Technology from UNSW and drives the responsible digital transformation and disruption of the defence, space, essential services and health sector. A key goal is to ensure that technology, including AI, is used responsibly and ethically to improve the lives of people and create a positive impact in society.

She is also passionate about empowering women and supports the organisational journey in creating respectful and supportive environments and has been a part of the UNSW Mentoring Program for graduates and AGSM alumni for over 10 years, specifically supporting career transition and next steps. Dominique is also a lifeguard on Sydney's northern beaches and competes in several disciplines including surf boats, R&R and ocean swimming, where she has received national and world rankings.
