Art 101 | Trace Monotypes
Overview
Art 101 is Logan Art Gallery's monthly education activity which aims to familiarise individuals with the fundamentals of art.
Join us to explore the simple trace monotype process. Sitting across both disciplines of printmaking and drawing, this is a beginner-friendly method to make one-of-a-kind prints without using a press. We will play with pressure, line, tone, and contrast to create unique artworks. Feel free to bring photos to work from or experiment with abstract mark-making. You can leave these as line-based images or work back into them with inks or watercolour.
