18+ Tabletop Session
4:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Two timed sessions to choose from!
Get ready for a night of dice, dragons, and great company at our Tabletop Night! Whether you’re a seasoned adventurer or brand new to the world of role-playing games, there’s a seat waiting for you.
Sessions
- Session 1: 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM (doors open from 3:30 PM)
- Session 2: 7:30 PM – 10:00 PM
Register for the session that suits you best — or come early and hang out at the social hour between games!
Cost
Free to register! Chip in what you can! Payment is made at the door — cash or card or bank transfer accepted. To keep the good times rolling, we recommend $20 per session.
We’re an independent, self-funded group, so every bit goes straight back into keeping the tables open and the good times rolling.
We’re building something special together! Your contributions help cover rent, resources, and running costs, making sure our community can keep thriving.
Think of it as supporting the tavern where our stories unfold.
Wanting to spectate, as you're not sure about playing just yet? Yes, you re welcome to watch for free! Just select the spectator ticket when registering. That way we can keep track of how many tables to organise and how many chairs to place.
Interested in being a Game Master?
We’re always on the lookout for enthusiastic Game Masters to join our events!
If you’d like to run a table, register your interest and we’ll get in touch with you soon.
Community Hour
Join us between sessions from 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM for either a sausage sizzle, snack, drink and social!
Games Running
Normally we have the following Tables:
- Daggerheart
- Fantasy World
- Dungeons & Dragons 5E (2014)
- Dungeons & Dragons 5E (2024)
If you ever want to run a table, or suggest a tabletop game, feel free to reach out!
Who’s Welcome
This is an 18+ event, and we welcome adults of all ages and genders— whether you’re 18 or 40+, you’ll fit right in! Our community already includes a wonderful mix of players from different age groups, backgrounds, and experience levels, so don’t feel like you’ll be the only one.
We’re a friendly, inclusive group that celebrates all genders and identities. Our space is LGBTQI+ safe, and support workers can attend free of charge. Assistance dogs are always welcome too.
What to bring
Bring along your enthusiasm — that’s all you really need!
If you have your own set of dice, a notebook, pen, or a tabletop role-playing app on your smart device, feel free to bring them along. You’re also welcome to come prepared with a character, but levels of charatcers will be decided at the event.
If not, don’t worry — we’ll have characters and all the resources you need ready for you.
About the Collective Adventurers Guild
The Collective Adventurers Guild began in 2024, born from a group of passionate tabletop enthusiasts who wanted to create a welcoming, inclusive space for people to connect through shared storytelling and play.
Since then, we’ve grown into a vibrant 18+ community group based in the northern suburbs of Melbourne, bringing together players of all backgrounds to roll dice, tell stories, and forge friendships.
We’ve recently partnered with a not-for-profit organisation to expand our reach and make tabletop roleplaying more accessible to people across the northern suburbs — with plans to grow across Melbourne and, one day, nationally. Together, we aim to foster creativity, confidence, and community through the magic of storytelling.
Whether you’re a seasoned adventurer or rolling your first dice, there’s always a seat for you at our table.
Our motto is simple: let go, get weird, have fun — and don’t be a d*ck.
Respect, kindness, and curiosity are the only real rules here. So, bring your wild ideas, your favourite dice, and your weirdest voices. We’re all here to enjoy the adventure — together.
