Arduino in the classroom: learn, teach, troubleshoot
This Teacher Professional Development workshop is designed to take you through the hardware and software of Arduino – not only what it is and how to use it – but how to troubleshoot the common issues in the classroom.
You will have direct access to our team’s expertise as we share how we use this platform to teach students the art of programming through “doing”, using real-world, hands-on innovative learning experiences.
Come and be introduced to the basics of Arduino programming, where it sits in the curriculum and work through the Arduino kit. To finish, you will work in groups with other teachers, to explore the applications of Arduino coding into new or existing curriculum.
Guests are encouraged to bring their own device and will take home their own Arduino kit for use back at school.
