The School of Communication and Arts and The University of Queensland (UQ) invite you to attend the 100 Years of UQ Journalism Celebration.

2021 marks 100 years since The University of Queensland (UQ) first began teaching journalism. The first program of its kind in Australia, UQ journalism has produced outstanding graduates who have helped to shape the national media landscape.

To celebrate this significant milestone the School of Communication and Arts will be hosting an event at Customs House on Tuesday 18 May 2021, this event will feature a keynote presentation — The Future of Journalism from UQ Alumnus and senior ABC journalist Lisa Millar.

Date: Tuesday 18 May 2021

Time: 6.15–8.30pm (arrivals from 6pm)

Venue: Customs House, 399 Queen Street

Guests will also have the opportunity to network with industry, Alumni and the wider UQ journalism community over drinks and canapés.
