Bring your class together and experience an art therapy session facilitated by professional local art therapist and teachers. This workshop aims to assist students with integrating the concepts of identity, community and belonging in a fun and enjoyable way and will hopefully help students better understand themselves, build self-esteem and improve resilience.
During this session, students will be invited to explore their inner worlds, their experience in the outside world, and then to share these varying experiences within the group, highlighting the similarities and diversity present within our community. All this is done in a safe space as students create a unique piece of art.
The program also includes a guided tour and free time to explore Museum of Brisbane's latest exhibition 100% Brisbane which focusses on the people of Brisbane and their stories.
